Catarina V. Guerreiro (PhD)

Marine geologist and nannopalaeontologist with a multidisciplinary profile, and a large experience in coccolithophore signatures from sediments and water column in present-day marginal to open-ocean environments, and its application as a tool to unravel (paleo)environmental variability. Currently works as a postdoctoral researcher at MARE/FCiências.ID and University of Lisbon (Portugal), as the PI of DUSTCO. Her first steps exploring the effects of Saharan dust in the tropical North Atlantic started in 2015, when she received a Marie Curie COFUND Fellowship to work at the University of Bremen (Germany).
